Away - fight, argue
“AH-why”
(Not “away” … xD)
Kaaway - enemy
Madalas magaway - easy to get into fights/arguments
Naga-a-away na naman sila. - They’re fighting again.
Huwag na kayong mag away - Don’t you guys fight.
Huwag away. - Don’t fight.

Talaga - really/very
“tah-lah-GAH”
Talaga? - Really?
Mahal kita talaga. - I truly love you.
Talagang talaga. - Truly truly really very much SO MUCH! (lawl xD)
Talagang ganyan. - It’s really like that.
Talagang ganyan ang buhay.
Note: You can turn it into an interjection… for instance, when you’re frustrated at someone or you can’t believe what someone did or what happened.
But it’s hard for me to put into words… so let’s use a situation.

Let’s say you bought some salmon and asked me to cook it. I get in the kitchen to cook, start screwing around, and you offer to help. I say, “No, I got it,” and waft you away. I then proceed to burn the fish, and shortly after, the kitchen bursts into flames.

Afterwards, you’d probably give me a D:< face and go, “TALAGA NAMAN. I TOLD YOU I WOULD HELP YOU.”
Rather complicated situation, but I hope it got the point across, rofl.

Ginagawa - Doing/making
“geh-NAH-gah-WAH”
Ano ang ginagawa mo? - What are you doing?
Anong ginagawa mo? - Whatcha doin’?

Tulog - sleep
“too-LOOG”
Matulog ka na. - Go to sleep (now).
Huwang kang matulog. - Don’t sleep
Matulog na tayo. - Let’s sleep (now).
Natutulog ka na ba? - Are you sleeping already?

Taon - year
“tah-ON”
Ilang taon na po kayo? - How old are you? (formal)
Ilang taon ka na? - How old are you? (informal)
Ako ay ______ gulang na. - I’m ______ years old.

Thirty = Tatlompu
“taht-lom-POH”
“Tatlompu” is the prefix for 31-39. Don’t forget the “t” at the end again.
You’re probably sick of counting and numbers by now…
